Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue for Tyler Fire & EMS and expand market share in an assigned territory. The role targets public sector agencies with enterprise SaaS solutions and requires building relationships with prospective clients.

Candidates should reside in NC, WV, VA, DE, PA, NJ, MD and be willing to travel 50–75% for customer visits, demos, and trade shows while meeting a defined annual sales quota.

Qualifications

• Experience selling enterprise software to public sector agencies.
• Experience selling Public Safety software applications (Fire and EMS Records Management).
• Ability to travel 60% within the region consistently.
• Competitive drive and results-oriented mindset.
• Experience using a sales CRM for forecasting and opportunity management.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Tyler's public safety products and services and their relation to target audiences.
• Build relationships with prospective clients to sell products and services.
• Generate sales within the territory for the full suite of products to Fire & EMS agencies.
• Manage long and complex sales cycles from lead to close.
• Maintain forecasts and activity reports in CRM.
• Travel to customer locations and trade shows or on-site demonstrations, ~60% of the time.
• Meet pre-set annual sales quota.
