Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain SD 911 Basic, EMD, NCIC and CJIS certifications within one year.
• Hearing tests and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process emergency and routine calls for service.
• Page responders and provide radio dispatch, EMD and pre-arrival instructions.
• Track calls and archive data in LEDS CAD.
• Monitor responder status and maintain situational awareness.
• Enter warrants, driver and criminal histories and NCIC data.
• Coordinate with agencies and run queries for authorized personnel.
