Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to help build a brand-new team responsible for configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. The role directly impacts growth by enabling deployments and ensuring the platform meets state and agency reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions; Forms.io preferred.
• Experience with scripting/config technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements for new jurisdictions.
• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Eng., Product, and Engineering to translate customer reporting needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Work with customers to troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand-new team.
• Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
