Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand-new customer team building configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. You will shape reporting forms and workflows, work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering, and help scale compliance reporting for growing deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions. Forms.io is strongly preferred.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements, helping customers deploy in new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies for form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to simplify compliance reporting.
