Job summary

Ultipro in Center City, MN seeks an Emergency Communications Services Administrator to design, implement, and maintain public safety communications systems including 2-way radio, E-911, and PBX systems. This full-time on-site role reports to the Emergency Communications Services Director.

You will liaise with vendors, manage budgets and projects, train end users, and ensure reliable operation while coordinating with county agencies and regional/state committees.

Qualifications

• Excellent communications skills for consulting peers, end-users, and vendors.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.
• In-depth knowledge of electronics and public safety communications systems including PBX.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to be a team player, assume leadership roles, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate public safety communications needs and match with equipment.
• Liaise with vendors on development, purchase and installation of hardware/software.
• Provide system engineering, design, analysis and service for public safety systems.
• Report performance and maintain records of service provided for each user/department.
• Perform budget tracking and cost control within assigned area.
