Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher with at least 1 year as a telecommunicator.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; familiarity with public safety and emergency communications systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of the Communications Center staff.
• Ensure 24/7 operations and staffing levels, overtime, PTO, and holidays are managed.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the Communications Center.
• Collaborate with fire, EMS, police and hospitals; participate in required meetings and disaster operations planning.
