Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking aTemporary Employment Services role to support undergraduate student services. You will guide students on degree requirements, review records in Degree Works, and respond to inquiries while helping with front desk operations and event support.

The position is temporary and structured with standard hours, offering benefits and a pathway to contribute to a busy campus environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in undergraduate student affairs or higher education academic support.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a focus on student-centered service.
• Ability to pass FERPA compliance training upon hire and maintain student privacy.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Guide undergraduate students on degree requirements, course registration, and policy navigation.
• Review student records and clear degree requirements using Degree Works.
• Manage the department inbox to deliver timely, accurate responses to undergraduate inquiries.
• Provide general event support and cover the front desk to maintain daily operations.
