Northland is seeking a Public Finance analyst to lead analytic work on deals, assist with offering documents, and serve as a liaison with issuers, rating agencies and internal teams.

You will develop market data insights, support compliance with FINRA/SEC rules, and help identify new opportunities while contributing to strategy and revenue goals. This role emphasizes attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Public Finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years in Accounting, Finance or Investments.
• Strong understanding of credit/finance concepts.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must achieve or maintain Series 50, 52, 63, SIE licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics on Public Finance deal analytics, disclosure and offering documents.
• Summarize market data to identify trend opportunities in Public Finance.
• Develop understanding of Northland's strategic vision and assist with market expansion.
• Support strategy, revenue targets and department goals across Public Finance and Capital Markets.
• Provide ongoing analytic support, document creation/review, and liaison duties.
