Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) invites applications for a Public Finance Lead Analyst within our Public Finance investment banking group. This role focuses on deal analytics, disclosure, and offering documents, serving as a liaison with issuers, advisors, and internal stakeholders.

You will build market understanding, evaluate financing structures, and support the strategic goals of Northland Capital Markets.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE: Experience in Public Finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
• 3+ years in an Accounting, Finance or Investments role.
• General understanding of credit/finance concepts.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Strong communications/presentation skills.
• Series 50, 52, 63, SIE exam/licenses expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead analyst on deal analytics, disclosure and offering documents.
• Develop understanding of Public Finance business, market and structures.
• Support business development and coordinate with issuers, counsel and agencies.
• Enter new markets, products and assist with pipeline and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
