Job summary

Northland Securities, Inc. in West Des Moines seeks a lead analyst in Public Finance to own deal analytics, disclosure, and offering documents, serving as a key liaison with issuers, counsel, rating agencies, and internal stakeholders.

You will build market understanding, develop financing structures, support business development, and help prepare proposals, pitch books and closings while ensuring compliance with FINRA/SEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have Public Finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 3+ years in Accounting/Finance/Investments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Series 50/52/63 and SIE licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Lead analyst on deal analytics, disclosure, and offering documents.
• Develop understanding of Public Finance market, structures and processes.
• Support business development and client-facing presentations.
• Coordinate with issuers, counsel, rating agencies, and credit enhancers.
• Assist with deal processing, closing documentation and compliance.
