Job summary

Truckee Sanitary District seeks an experienced professional to lead finance and customer services. Reporting to the General Manager, the role plans, manages, and directs the district's financial operations and related administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public agency finance and governmental accounting, with experience in budget development, contract administration, and leading teams in a regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in public agency finance and governmental accounting.
• Experience in public agency budget development and contract administration.
• Knowledge of financial information systems and system implementation.
• Strong leadership, staff development and supervisory skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with other departments to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Oversee programs, projects, and assignments within finance and customer services.
• Provide expert financial guidance to District management and support decision making.
