Job summary

Truckee Sanitary District (TSD) seeks an experienced Finance and Administrative Manager to lead the District’s finance and customer services operations. Reporting to the General Manager, the role plans, manages and directs financial activities, budgets, and administrative programs.

Ideal candidate has public agency finance background, budgeting and contract administration experience, and strong leadership skills to guide staff and ensure compliance with laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in finance, business or public administration; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in financial and administrative program management.
• Knowledge of financial information systems and contract administration.
• Strong leadership and staff management abilities.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities with other departments for efficiency and service quality.
• Oversee programs, projects, and special assignments.
• Provide expert advice to District management.
