Knowledge Services is hiring an Eligibility Specialist for the Indiana DFR. The role supports processing applications for TANF, SNAP, and Medicaid, via in-person or phone interactions in Auburn, IN. You will verify data, gather documents, and determine eligibility with state systems.

We seek organized, customer-focused individuals with strong communication skills. The position offers a 37.5-hour work week, paid benefits, and a starting wage of 16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Gathers data for all relevant assistance programs with clients face-to-face or by phone.
• Verifies information meets state policies and requirements.
• Obtains release forms and medical records as needed.
• Verifies income, assets and other documents.
• Explains regulations and program requirements to clients.
• Uses automated system to determine program eligibility.
• Enters data into the state database accurately.
• Responds to inquiries via phone or email in a timely manner.

Responsabilités

• Greet clients and collect data for TANF, SNAP, Medicaid applications.
• Check documents for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Request and review income, assets, and legal documents as needed.
• Explain program rules and advise clients on next steps.
