Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our PRN team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, implementing individualized plans and contributing to continuity of care in a flexible daytime schedule.

Requirements include an Associate Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, an active, unencumbered PTA license, and a preference for one year of prior PTA experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required.
• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License.
• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices.
