Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's DFW Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and provide exercise instruction under the supervision of a PT, aiming to improve patients' well‑being in home care.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home PT as defined by supervising PT and perform only approved procedures.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, and functional training.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educates patient, family, and caregiver on therapy within scope of practice.
• Provide care in diverse home settings regardless of background.
