Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state laws governing physical therapy in home care and perform only procedures qualified by the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers, and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the PT, nurse supervisor, and physician.
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other health team members in therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, or disability.
