Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, within the Optum family, is recruiting a Physical Therapist Assistant for DFW Home Health. You will perform treatment, provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve well‑being while following the plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist in a home health setting.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license or certification in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license and access to a vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in home settings regardless of client demographics.
• Weekend rotation availability.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home healthcare and client treatment.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADLs, and prosthetic training.
• Observe patient responses and coordinate with supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patients, family, and caregivers on therapy activities.
