Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and treatment plan as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and prosthetic training.
• Observes and reports patient responses; coordinates care with the healthcare team.
• Educates patient, family, and care team in therapy within the PTA scope.
