Job summary

Mesa Hills Post Acute is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Physical Therapist in providing resident care and implementing treatment plans. You will help with documentation, safety, and communication across the care team, ensuring high-quality rehab services.

You will educate residents and families on goals and home programs, and assist with equipment orders to promote independence and mobility, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care systems.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate with the supervising PT to update physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Assist with ordering durable medical equipment to support mobility.
