Mirage Post Acute Lancaster SNF Healthcare, LLC seeks a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Physical Therapist with resident care and documentation. You will maintain safety protocols, educate residents and families, and support discharge planning in a busy post-acute setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and communication with physicians and nursing staff to optimize resident mobility and independence.

Formación

• Education and/or Experience: Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Language Skills: Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers and families.
• Mathematical Skills: Apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsabilidades

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervising physical therapist regarding progress, goals, and discharge planning.
• Provide in-services on training programs for staff as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
