Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative in Whitestown, IN. Work Saturdays and Sundays from 6:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., starting at $12 per hour with potential increases at set intervals.

You will provide member support, signups, and a welcoming, efficient front-desk experience, while helping maintain a clean and safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests
• Answer phones using information script
• Greet members and sign up new members, logging amenities
• Respond to member questions in a timely, professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the point of sale
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF)
• Maintain a clean, sanitized club environment

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system


• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members


• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift


• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift


• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
