Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on delivering a superior Judgement Free experience to members and guests at the club location.

Shifts are on Saturdays and Sundays with starting pay at $12 per hour and regular increases at set anniversaries. The role includes meeting and greeting, sign-ups, and POS transactions in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday 6:45 AM - 11:45 AM

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
