Job summary

Planet Fitness in Logansport, IN is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative. You will greet members, answer questions, sign up new members, and log amenities while delivering a friendly, Judgement Free experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, strong communication and friendly demeanor.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required for daily tasks.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and greet members, log amenities.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes and memberships to members and guests.
• Keep the club environment clean, sanitized and safe.

Full - Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Monday (4:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) Tuesday & Wednesday (6 a.m. - 2 p.m.) Saturday & Sunday (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
