Job summary

Planet Fitness Grove City is hiring a Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer questions, sign up new members, and promote classes. The role offers a schedule with early shifts and benefits including PTO and health options.

Starting pay is $12 per hour with increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year, based on anniversary date. This is a full-time, on-site position at Grove City, OH.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the POS.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new sign-ups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Full-Time: Starting at $12 per hour. Schedule is Monday 4:45am - 12pm and Tuesday - Friday 6am - 2pm.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system


• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members


• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift


• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift


• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
