Job summary

Planet Fitness in Springfield, MA is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a part-time role, starting at $15 per hour. Schedule: 9 AM–1 PM, Monday through Friday, with hourly increases at 6 months and after the first year.

You will greet members, answer phones, sign up new members, process purchases, and help maintain a clean, welcoming club under the Judgement Free brand.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests
• Answer phones using information script in a friendly manner
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns professionally
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at POS
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift

• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
