Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, seeks a Customer Service Representative for a Flourtown, PA club. You will welcome members, sign up new members, log amenities, and promote the Judgement Free fitness experience.

This part-time role offers starting pay of $11 per hour with shifts 6pm–11:15pm on weekdays and earlier close on Fridays. Benefits include PTO and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to members and guests.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the point of sale.
• Promote our fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to members and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Monday 6pm - 11:15pm

Tuesday 6pm - 11:15pm

Wednesday 6pm - 11:15pm

Thursday 6pm - 11:15pm

Friday 6pm - 9:15pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
