Job summary

Planet Fitness High Point, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer phones, sign up new members and log amenities, delivering a friendly, Judgement Free experience.

The position offers entry level growth, shift-differential pay for select shifts, PTO, 401K with employer match, health options, and a team-driven environment focused on accountability, drive, passion and ambition.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Shift: First Shift

Full - Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday 4:45am-1pm
• Tuesday-Thursday 6am-2pm
• Friday 6am-1pm

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
