Job summary

Planet Fitness Belmont is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide a high level of member service at our Belmont club. The role includes greeting and onboarding members, handling inquiries, and supporting day-to-day club operations in a friendly, judgment-free environment.

Starting pay is $11 per hour with planned increases after 180 days, 1 year, and every six months thereafter based on anniversary dates.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones with a friendly tone and follow scripts.
• Greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverages or merchandise purchases at the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and guests.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
