Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager for Psychiatry in Queens, NY. You will drive sales in the assigned territory, align activities with the sales strategy, and collaborate with the District Sales Manager on promotions and plans.

The role requires a BS/BA with GPA above 3.0 and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preference for psychiatry or CNS experience. Occasional travel and a strong hunter mentality are expected.

Qualificações

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidates not meeting the work experience requirements may be considered for the “Associate” role.
• Atypical anti-psychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Preferred specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales directions for product promotion.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize proper product use in the territory.
• Maintain up-to-date product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Manage travel and promotional budgets and report expenses.
