Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to join our dynamic sales organization in the Bismarck, ND area. You will work with the Neuroscience District Sales Manager to execute our product promotion strategy and drive performance within your territory.

You will build strong relationships with physicians and healthcare facilities, analyze market data, monitor reimbursement, and manage travel and budget while maintaining full compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Atypical anti-psychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Preferred psychiatry, CNS or pain management exposure is advantageous.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day strategy and promotions.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use.
• Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitors and reimbursement.
• Manage travel and promotional budget and reporting requirements.
