Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Account Manager to drive sales in the Fargo, ND territory, promoting differentiated products and services to psychiatrists, community mental health centers, and hospitals. Partner with the District Sales Manager to execute strategy and maximize product access.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA with GPA >3.0 and at least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience; associate consideration offered for others.

Qualifications

BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
Candidates not meeting work experience requirements may be considered for the Associate role.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Must reside within territory geography and be able to travel.

Responsibilities

Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
Maintain product, disease, and market reimbursement knowledge.
Communicate effectively with target audiences using advanced selling skills.
Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
Manage travel and promotional budget.
Complete monitoring and reporting including expenses and call reporting.
