Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager to lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio and execute sales strategies with clinical knowledge to drive performance.

The role requires promoting to customers, building relationships, and applying market insights to uncover opportunities. Travel up to 30–40% domestically; salary range listed with benefits including PTO, health coverage, 401k, and a company car.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• Must be certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is required; valid driver's license in good standing.
• Must meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead promotion of psychiatry portfolio and execute sales strategies.
• Deliver messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections, close with action.
• Build and maintain relationships based on customer needs.
• Gather market trends and apply therapeutic knowledge to opportunities.
• Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics and payer access issues.
• Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and Lundbeck policies.
