Job summary

Family Service of RI (FSRI) seeks a dedicated case manager to provide services to families experiencing homelessness within the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. The position is based on-site at Lucy’s Hearth in Middletown, RI, with visits to families in their apartments across Aquidneck Island and participation in rotating on-call duties.

Applicants should have an associates degree in human services or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human services or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with diverse populations and partners.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance required.
• Bilingual/ASL skills add 6% to base pay.
• Multilingual skills add 8% to base pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to families in the Permanent Supportive Housing Program.
• Initiate intervention strategies to improve self-sufficiency and housing stability.
• Assist clients in accessing mainstream benefits and coordinating with community resources.
• Support landlord relationships and client success during housing placement; on-site at Lucy’s Hearth, Middletown, with island-wide visits; rotate on-call duties.
