Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island seeks a Program Manager to oversee Lucy's Hearth's Permanent Supportive Housing program, ensuring safety, client engagement, grant implementation, quality management, and staff supervision from its Middletown location.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in health care or public administration, 2+ years of supervisory experience, HMIS experience, and knowledge of RI housing resources. Bilingual/ASL and multilingual skills bring salary boosts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public administration or a closely related field; significant related work experience may be considered in lieu of credential.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising staff.
• Experience with HMIS systems, databases and administrative/office management is preferred.
• Knowledge of Rhode Island’s affordable housing resources is preferred.
• Bilingual/ASL skills add 6% to base pay; multilingual skills add 8% to base pay.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Lucy's Hearth's Permanent Supportive Housing program, including safety protocols, client participation and program development.
• Collaborate with landlords, property managers and developers to maintain housing stability and foster landlord-tenant relationships.
• Serve as a member of the Rhode Island Continuum of Care (CoC) and support partnerships and housing initiatives.
