Job summary

Family Service of RI (FSRI) in Middletown, RI, seeks a Program Manager to oversee Lucy's Hearth Permanent Supportive Housing operations. You will ensure safety, drive grant implementation, and lead staff for program development.

You will collaborate with landlords and property managers to maintain housing stability and participate in Rhode Island’s Continuum of Care, supporting community partnerships and housing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising staff.
• Experience with HMIS systems preferred.
• Knowledge of Rhode Island affordable housing resources preferred.
• Bilingual/ASL skills add 6%, multilingual add 8% to base pay.

Responsibilities

Job Location: Lucys Hearth - Middletown, RI 02842, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $65,820.00 - $81,839.00 Salary, Travel Percentage: Up to 50% , Job Shift: Day, FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!

Position Summary

This position provides direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of Lucy's Hearth's Permanent Supportive Housing program, including safety protocols, client participation, grant implementation, quality management, staff supervision, and program development. The position is based in Middletown, RI and supports scattered-site apartments located throughout Newport County. The Program Manager collaborates directly with landlords, property managers, and developers to maintain housing stability and foster effective landlord–tenant relationships. An individual in this role is also required to serve as a member of the Rhode Island Continuum of Care (CoC) and support ongoing community partnerships and housing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, public administration or a closely related field of study (significant related work experience in lieu of a credential will be considered).


• At least 2 years of experience in directly supervising staff.


• Experience with HMIS systems, databases and administrative/office management responsibilities preferred.


• Knowledge of Rhode Island’s affordable housing resources preferred.


• Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.


• Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
