AllianceBernstein L.P. is seeking an Investment Stewardship Associate in New York to support proxy voting, governance research, and engagement efforts within the Responsible Investing team.

The role reports to the Director of Investment Stewardship and focuses on integrating material ESG factors into investment processes. The candidate will help cast proxy votes, develop voting policies, conduct governance research, and engage with issuers, contributing to policy development and thought

Qualifications

• Significant academic achievement and interest in responsible investing and financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proxy Voting and Reporting: learn and apply voting policy, perform research, liaise with investment teams, ensure timely votes, compile reports and develop policy content.
• Engagement: participate in engagements with issuer management, plan and track outcomes.
• Integration: liaise with analysts and portfolio teams on ESG topics, support sector-specific queries.
