State Street seeks an experienced Asset Stewardship Analyst at the AVP level to support stewardship activities across the Americas. You will analyze proxy voting matters, engage with issuers, and contribute to developing our stewardship program.
The role emphasizes independent analysis, thoughtful vote recommendations, governance research, and collaboration with teams across investment, research, legal, compliance, and operations.
We are seeking an experienced Asset Stewardship Analyst at the Assistant Vice President level to support stewardship activities across the Americas region. A successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing proxy voting matters, conducting issuer engagements, researching emerging governance and other topics, and contributing to the continued development of our stewardship program.
The Asset Stewardship team is responsible for proxy voting and issuer engagement activities on behalf of State Street Investment Management's clients. The team seeks to promote long-term shareholder value through thoughtful stewardship, including proxy voting, engagement with portfolio companies, and generating thought leadership. The team votes at thousands of shareholder meetings annually and engages with hundreds of issuers each year on topics material to a company’s long-term strategy.
