Job summary

Wellington Management seeks a Stewardship Analyst to join the Stewardship & Sustainable Investment team within the COO Group on our Investment Platform. The role supports engagement with issuers, informs proxy voting, and advances governance research, helping to scale stewardship across our organization.

The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams, maintain accurate engagement records, and apply data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve research, reporting, and voting workflows.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience in investment stewardship, governance, or sustainability research.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data tools such as Power BI, Python, or related AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support issuer engagements with company management and boards.
• Analyze proxy ballot items and inform voting recommendations.
• Maintain accurate engagement records and stewardship data for reporting.
• Leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve research, reporting, and voting workflows.
• Assist with stewardship reporting and responses to RFIs/RFPs.
