Wellington Management is seeking a Stewardship Analyst to join the Stewardship & Sustainable Investment team within the COO Group. The role supports engagement, proxy voting, and stewardship operations across global markets.

You will help develop engagement priorities, analyze governance practices, and contribute to issuer research. The position emphasizes data quality, collaboration with investment teams, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, Sustainability, Political Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience in investment stewardship, governance, or related research roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel and PowerPoint are emphasized. Familiarity with Power BI, Python, or AI-enabled workflows is a plus.
• Exceptional early-career candidates with strong analytical ability and writing skills will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support the Stewardship Lead in developing and executing engagement priorities.
• Engage with company management and boards to inform proxy voting decisions.
• Analyze proxy items and provide voting recommendations aligned with guidelines.
• Maintain stewardship data, assist with reporting, and support stakeholder workflows.
