Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in healthcare business development, consultative sales, physician engagement/relationship management, marketing, or relationship management.
• Strong self-motivated, results-oriented, with excellent organizational, oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, direct, implement, and evaluate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a geographically assigned portfolio of referring providers to identify growth opportunities and influence referral patterns.
• Build and sustain relationships with referring providers and staff through structured outreach and follow-up.
• Apply consultative techniques to uncover provider needs and align VCU Health solutions with practice goals.
• Facilitate patient referrals and assist practices in navigating the health system for efficient access and coordination of care.
• Develop targeted outreach campaigns to grow referrals and reduce network leakage in priority service lines.
• Coordinate provider engagement activities including roundtables, educational briefings, and practice visits.
• Maintain documentation of outreach activities, opportunities, and issues in PRM systems and meet performance targets.
