Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Services Support Associate to execute routine business tasks under supervision in the Finance department.

Typical duties include entering baseline demographic transactions for claim adjudication, responding to member inquiries, auditing provider information, and supporting process optimization initiatives. A strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly and benefits as part of CVS Health.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare and/or data entry experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures to execute routine business support tasks for the Data Services function, under general supervision.
• Supports the Finance department, interacting with key Underwriting and Account Management specialists for optimal deliverables.
• Enters baseline demographic transactions into the provider directory to support claim adjudication procedures and progress.
• Performs data service intake triage, subsequently reviewing details to effectively respond to customer/member inquiries.
• Conducts regular audits of provider information, escalating any issues or concerns to management for swift resolution.
• Supports Data Services Change Management and Process Optimization strategies, in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Takes direction from management to properly understand and execute key work area techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• Responds to auditor data requests, questions, and discrepancies, in order to ensure collective data integrity and quality of work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
