Job summary

G&W Electric Co seeks an Assembler I to perform sub-assembly and assembly tasks with basic complexity in a manufacturing setting in Bolingbrook, IL. You will prepare, position, and assemble parts, read drawings, and support prototype builds as needed.

A safe, organized work environment is emphasized. Qualifications include a High School diploma/GED, 0–1 year manufacturing experience, basic English reading, and ability to use small tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Able to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read and understand English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Study assembly instructions, blueprints, and materials lists before starting.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Assemble components and verify correct fit and connections.
• Assist in prototype builds and basic assembly projects as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
