Siemens Healthineers in New York, NY seeks a Floating Field Service Engineer for Proton Therapy systems to support multiple sites with NY as the primary location. You will maintain, troubleshoot and service complex subsystems, ensuring high reliability and safety at customer sites.

This role requires up to 85% travel, on-site work, and completion of required trainings to meet FDA compliance. Strong English skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technologies or 2 years of related military/high-tech experience.
• Able to work at heights or in cramped spaces when required.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Root-cause troubleshooting using technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional knowledge and safety according to guidelines to ensure safe operations.
• Provide visible customer support and assist in operating the system.
• Serve as liaison with customers on technical and administrative matters.
• Perform operational quality checks and planned maintenance timely.
• Produce accurate field service reports and complete trainings to maintain FDA compliance.
