Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Varian Proton Therapy Field Service Engineer to maintain and operate the Proton Therapy System on-site in Atlanta, GA. You will support the customer, perform maintenance, and document service activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

This role requires flexibility with shifts (1st/2nd/3rd), possible travel to other Proton Therapy sites, and proficiency with mechanical/electrical tooling, as well as FDA compliance training and vendor

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of relevant military/high-tech experience.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Customer-focused attitude and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot via technical drawings and root-cause analysis.
• Must meet safety guidelines and work safely on site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional knowledge and safety per VMS guidelines.
• Provide visible customer support and assist operation of the Proton System.
• Serve as liaison with customer for technical/administrative matters.
• Perform operational quality checks and planned maintenance on schedule.
• Submit detailed field service reports and complete trainings/certifications for FDA compliance.
• Ensure access requirements and credentialing for client sites.
