Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a respected provider of electrical testing and engineering services across North America. The Senior Relay Technician leads protection and control testing, manages field teams, and ensures safe, reliable operation of substation and industrial systems.

The role requires deep technical knowledge, project leadership, and strong customer interaction, with travel and overtime as needed to deliver complex commissioning and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/electronic technology preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and field activities on projects.
• Analyze protection schemes for power systems and perform testing and commissioning of relay panels.
• Perform advanced end-to-end and functional testing with relay test equipment and software.
• Prepare and review reports, relay settings, and commissioning documentation.
• Mentor Relay Technician I/II and junior engineers in protection practices.
