Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Prosthetist/Orthotist to join a nationally embedded clinic. You will assess patients, design and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure optimal outcomes.

You’ll perform casts and measurements, supervise residents as needed, and provide patient education and follow‑up care in a dynamic hospital-affiliated setting.

Qualifications

• Current ABC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics or eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent
• Valid driver’s license; driving record within policy standards
• State licensure may be required where applicable
• 5+ years of demonstrated prosthetic/orthotic clinical experience acceptable if not certified

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services and options
• Examine patients, assess disease and functional loss, and design devices
• Make casts, take measurements, and modify models for fitting
• Perform fittings and static/dynamic alignments; ensure proper function
• Provide patient instruction and follow‑up with patients and physicians
• Document detailed clinical notes and participate in practice management
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians; support staff as needed
