Job summary

Hanger is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to deliver high-quality prosthetic and orthotic care across our clinic network. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, fabricate devices, and oversee fitting and follow-up to ensure optimal outcomes.

In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to provide safe, effective devices, while mentoring residents and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of biomechanics, gait analysis, and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and collaboration.
• Current ABC or BOC certification or eligibility for licensure where applicable.
• Baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to analyze patient needs for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic/orthotic devices for patients.
• Provide patient education on device use and care.
• Document clinical notes and manage follow-up with patients and doctors.
• Mentor residents or new clinicians when needed.
