Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to deliver comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care in our patient-focused clinics. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, fabricate and fit devices, and provide follow-up with physicians and patients.

You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team, mentor residents, and stay current with clinical guidelines and technologies while maintaining safety and efficient reimbursement practices.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics (ABC or BOC).
• Bachelor degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• In states where licensure is required, ability to obtain and maintain state licensure.
• Willingness to mentor residents or newly certified clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic and/or orthotic services.
• Examine patient needs and formulate treatment plans.
• Design, fabricate and fit prostheses and/or orthoses.
• Perform fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and function.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians, and in-service training to clinicians.
