Job summary

Hanger Clinic is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician to join our nationwide O&P network. The role emphasizes hands-on device design, fitting, and patient education while collaborating with physicians and the rehabilitation team.

You will develop treatment plans, supervise residents when available, and maintain detailed records. This position requires current ABC/BOC certification or board eligibility and a strong biomechanics background.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in prosthetics/orthotics as required by state.
• BDC/ABC or BOC credentials; licensure may be required by state.
• Strong foundation in biomechanics and gait analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and options.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust devices to meet patient goals.
• Document clinical notes and treatment plans in patient records.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care; mentor residents as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, OSHA, and safety regulations.
