Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Prosthetist/Orthotist to assess and treat patients across our extensive clinic network.

You will design, fabricate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, work with physicians, and provide ongoing care and education to patients and staff. You will leverage biomechanics knowledge and advanced technologies to deliver superior patient outcomes, while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current ABC/BOC board certification or eligibility is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics/orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain state licensure as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and options.
• Assess patient needs, formulate treatment plans and supervise delivery of care.
• Perform fitting, adjustments and follow-up to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Provide training to physicians and staff; maintain detailed clinical notes.
• Meet with referral sources to expand services and refer patient care.
